I think I’ve been very lucky in my professional life (but also in my personal one).
The Commercial and General Management of city hotels, some with both Corporate and Leisure characteristics, but also and above all of Resorts, Golf Resorts and Golf Clubs, part of famous Luxury Hotel Companies, have allowed me to have a complete vision in the management of complex Properties, all with different aspects and the fact of having lived in nine different destinations has enriched me both as a Manager and as a person, meeting people with varied mentalities and styles, managing extremely capable and versatile resources.
My professional adventure began at the end of the 80s in Forte Village in Sardinia, recognized as one of the most beautiful and important resorts in the world.
My 8 years at the Forte were my University in the vast panorama of Hospitality, what I learned in those years was fundamental for my managerial training, helping to build a prepared and motivated Manager.
In many years of intensely lived experiences, I had the opportunity to Commercially manage Prestigious Hotels and Resorts such as Forte Village, Le Méridien Lingotto in Turin, Le Meridien Hotels & Golf Resort in the Algarve region in Portugal, Vice President Sales & Marketing of the THI Group which boasted prestigious hotels such as the San Domenico in Taormina, the Excelsior Palace in Rapallo and the San Clemente in Venice, as well as historic Gourmet Restaurants such as “Il Savini” in Milan and “Il Cambio” in Turin.
While the last commercial experience was the Donnafugata Golf Resort & SPA in Sicily.
There have been many General Managements of prestigious, historic and emerging Hotels and Resorts: Hotel Castello at Forte Village, Le Méridien Rimini, the Majestic in Rome where I achieved prestigious results with the renovation of the Catering and made it the Rome’s favorite Hotel of the “Film Fest”.
Palazzo Arzaga Golf Resort & SPA, a resort that had experienced many years of difficulty, but which with my management has achieved the results that this splendid structure deserved. The Regina Baglioni in Rome in the iconic Via Veneto and the Villaverde Golf Resort in Friuli a few kilometers from the heart of San Daniele, home of the famous prosciutto.
I have also had motivating and fascinating experiences in the world of high-level sport in the Hospitality Management of major events of the Italian Tennis Federation and CONI such as the Italian Internationals of the Foro Italico and the Next gen ATP Finals in Milan and the historic Horse Show of Piazza di Siena in Rome.
Finally, in my last experience as a Manager, I managed the largest and one of the most prestigious Golf Clubs in Italy, Monticello near Lake Como. An experience that completed my professional growth and enhanced my skills in the world of Managerial Golf.
After the management of Monticello, today I am concentrated on developing my entrepreneurial projects which combines all the experiences and skills acquired in more than 35 years of managerial profession and 47 years lived intensely in the splendid world of Golf.
